Auction Rules
A simple, transparent ruleset designed to protect bidders and consignors alike.
Registration
All bidders must register a free account and verify their email before placing bids. Bidder identities are anonymized on the public floor and are never disclosed to other users.
Straight Bidding
Bids are straight bids only. The amount you place is the bid that stands — Infinite Auctions does not place proxy or maximum bids on your behalf. To raise your position, place a new bid that meets the next minimum increment.
Buy It Now
Selected lots may be offered at a Buy It Now price. Clicking Buy It Now sends you directly to Stripe checkout; payment must be completed at that time. Buy It Now remains available throughout the auction until the current bid meets or exceeds the Buy It Now price. A successful Buy It Now closes the lot — no further bids will be accepted. While a buyer is completing a Buy It Now checkout, new bids on the same lot are paused for up to 15 minutes.
Hard Close & Anti-Snipe
Lots end at the time stated. Any bid placed within the final 60 seconds automatically extends the clock by an additional 60 seconds, ensuring no sniping. The extension continues to apply for each subsequent bid that lands inside the final 60 seconds, so the lot only closes once a full 60 seconds passes with no further activity.
Winning Bidder
When the clock hits zero with no further extension, the highest bidder wins. Winning bidders will receive an invoice and a secure payment link.
Reserves & Reserve Bids
Infinite Auctions has the right to place disclosed or non-disclosed reserve bids on lots, at its sole discretion. All items with reserves not met will be disclosed after the auction. By bidding you accept this practice and waive any return request or dispute based on the existence, level, or operation of a reserve.
Buyer's Premium
A 22% buyer's premium is added to all winning bids and Buy It Now purchases, and is included in the total at checkout.
Payment
Payment is due within 10 days of auction close. ACH bank transfer is our primary payment method and is required on any lot above $5,000. Credit cards are accepted on lots of $5,000 or less with a 3.5% processing fee added to the total.
Shipping, Taxes, Duties & Tariffs
Shipping costs and applicable sales tax (based on your shipping address) are calculated at checkout. Buyers are responsible for any additional duty fees, tariffs, customs charges, or import expenses associated with international shipments — and for any reshipping costs caused by refused, undeliverable, or incorrectly addressed parcels.
Authenticity
All photo-matched items are accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from the matching service. Game-used items include a chain of custody where available.
Returns
All sales are final; period — unless Infinite Auctions, at our sole discretion, chooses to issue a refund. We guarantee authenticity; any authenticity disputes must be raised within 30 days.
Consignor Fees
0% seller fees on game-used items and rare autographs. Flat 10% seller fee on graded cards. Private sale terms are negotiated case-by-case.
