“The Decision” for LeBron James to leave Cleveland in the summer of 2010 for greener (well, warmer) pastures in Miami had to feel like the right one less than two years later when he, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and company hoisted the Larry O’Brien trophy as 2012 NBA Champions. The following season, King James was determined to take the Heat back to the Finals to win another, and that’s exactly what he did, taking home his second-straight MVP award (and his 4th overall) in the process. Infinite Auctions proudly offers a pair of LeBron’s game-worn Nike Zoom “LeBron X Home PE” shoes from the 2012-13 season in which the Heat completed a rare back-to-back NBA title run. He wore this pair in a November 5, 2012 home game vs. the Phoenix Suns, an emphatic 124-99 victory for Miami. LeBron had team highs of 23 points and 11 rebounds in an efficient 30 minutes of action that night. The shoes were sourced from a former Heat ball boy who worked the game at American Airlines Arena.
These Nike Zoom signature model sneakers are one of three color ways matching the Miami Heat home uniform, with a white-based upper, red Hyperfuse panels, and a black Nike Swoosh. The 10th edition of Nike LeBron footwear, they sport an innovative design with high ankle support, a built-in interior custom cutout compartment for additional padding, and several breathable panels for temperature control. Each one is dated “11-5-12” in thick silver marker at the roof of the tongue (inside) to denote the game he wore them. The King James logo is stamped on the tongue and outsoles. LeBron’s facsimile autograph stamp appears on the reverse of the tongue pull tabs. A special gray emblem with a crown and L.R.G. initials appears on each heel to honor LeBron and the Heat’s 2012 NBA title. In addition, there is a plastic patch underneath each tongue that reads “CUT AND TAILORED TO THE EXACT SPECIFICATIONS OF WORLD CHAMPION LEBRON JAMES FORGED MMIII”. The original laces are intact. The size 16 shoes are appropriately tagged on the interior with “SEASON HO12” and “PROMO SAMPLE20120821” indicating they were player-issued for 2012-13 home use. They display solid wear throughout, with some red paint transfers on the midsoles and appropriate heel drag on the outsoles. Awesome pair of LeBron gamers from a reliable team source who would like to remain anonymous. Includes LOA from previous owner who acquired them directly from a former Heat ball boy.
