This Los Angeles Angels jersey was worn by Albert Pujols during the 2016 MLB season and photo matches to 15 games including two contests where he hit a single home run and another where he blasted two home runs. This red, button down jersey features “Angels” sewn across the front in red, navy, white, and gray tackle twill. Pujols’ number “5” is sewn on the front and back in similarly colored tackle twill. “PUJOLS” is sewn across the back shoulders in red, navy, and white tackle twill. A circular Angels logo is sewn on the left sleeve above a white Majestic logo, while an Angels “A” logo is sewn on the right. A gray and white band circles the sleeve and collar openings. A vinyl MLB logo is applied to the back outside collar. A Majestic size “54” tag is applied to the front left tail of the jersey. Pujols signed the “5” on the back in silver marker, adding the inscription “Game Used 2016”. A STICKER ONLY from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B54956) authenticates the signature, while a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 822312) dates the jersey to use during the September 24th game. The jersey also comes with a photo match LOA from Real Game Used. The three-time National League MVP finished the 2016 season with 31 home runs, bringing his career total to 591, and 119 RBI.
