This game used Willie Mays bat has scored a perfect game used 10 from PSA/DNA Authentication. This legendary stick is a Louisville Slugger model W215 bat (35" and 33 ounces) and according to bat expert John Taube the bat has a labelling period of 1972. The bat shows absolutely incredible wear with several ball marks, stitch impressions throughout, and has no cracks. The stick has a hand written "24" in aged ink on the knob. There are also Reg and green bat rack streaks that run from the barrell engravings to the trademark. Willie Mays is one of the greatest baseball players of all time making 24 All-Star game appearances, winning the Gold Glove Award 12 times, and once hit 4 home runs in a single game. This bat originates from the collection of Washington Senators equipment manager Fred Baxter and is one of the finest examples of a Mays bat that we have ever seen.
