Presented is a 2013 Boston Red Sox game worn road jersey, used by and autographed by one-time third baseman Will Middlebrooks. In our opinion this item appears to show characteristics of game use. The Majestic jersey is MLB Authenticated. MLB Holo # EK 988087. It has the proper “16 46 13” size tag on the tail. Middlebrooks has employed silver paint pen to sign the red “6” on the back, adding “Boston Strong” — a slogan created as part of the reaction to the Boston Marathon bombing in April 2013. (At the first baseball game in Fenway Park after the bombings, the stadium announcer told the crowd: “We are one. We are strong. We are Boston. We are Boston strong.”) Middlebrooks went on to win the 2013 World Series with the club.
