The Golden State Warriors entered the 2015-16 season as the defending NBA champions and dispelled any notion of a sophomore jinx as the squad made NBA by setting the best ever regular-season record of 73-9 — breaking the old 72-10 record set by Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls during their 1995-96 campaign. Led by point guard Stephen Curry, the Warriors put on a performance that fans and analysts alike consider to be the greatest in NBA history — and perhaps one of the greatest in professional sports history.
Presented is a Golden State Warriors jersey game worn and autographed by Curry during that historic campaign. In our opinion this item appears to show characteristics of game use. While wearing this garment, Curry and his teammates broke more than 25 NBA records and more than 10 franchise records, including most wins ever recorded in a season (regular-season and postseason combined) with 88 and the all-time record for 3-pointers in one season. Curry became the first player in NBA history to be elected MVP by a unanimous vote (for his second consecutive honor) and led the league in scoring. The jersey is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from JSA for the autograph.
