This 1996-97 Toronto Raptors (Huskies) game-used rookie debut throwback NBA jersey was worn by Marcus Camby. This particular game on November 1, 1996 was a tribute to the NBA's very first game that took place fifty years earlier on November 1, 1946 between the Toronto Huskies and the New York Knicks. This is arguably the most meaningful throwback jersey in NBA history. It is accompanied by a Pro Am Sports LOA. In our opinion this item appears to show characteristics of game use. The Raptors selected Camby second overall in the first round of the 1996 NBA draft. In his rookie season, he made the NBA All-Rookie First Team, averaging 14.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game.
