Could there be a better fit than Kevin Greene and the city of Pittsburgh? Very few athletes mirror the spirit of the Steel City like Greene did. A menacing presence on the field, Greene finished his career as the NFL's all-time leader in sacks for a linebacker. Those behind him include sack specialists Lawrence Taylor and Derrick Thomas. This size "50" jersey was worn by the Hulk Hogan look-alike in 1994 when he was terrorizing opposing quarterbacks. Imagine the look on a QB's face (called "fighter pilot eyes") when Greene and fellow bad boy, Greg Lloyd, were grunting from the linebacker position. Greene was his customary brilliant self as he finished with 12-1/2 sacks in his initial campaign with the Steelers. This jersey showcases moderate overall wear with a number of unrepaired tears on the durene shoulders. The shoulder numerals have washed-out soil remains. The front numbers have a few black facemask marks and hit marks from those Sunday battles. Secured in the tail are four tags: "93" (swatch), Starter Steelers exclusivity, size (flag), and "LONG" (cut). The jersey is accompanied by a LOA from game used expert Dave Miedema.
