From Kevin Durant’s very first year in the NBA comes this 2007-08 Seattle SuperSonics game used jersey. In our opinion this item appears to show characteristics of game use. Worn by the future Hall of Famer during his rookie campaign, the garment features an Adidas manufacturer’s tag with size “50”, “CLIMALITE” and +2” added length flap tags affixed. In addition to proper tagging it bears the appropriate numbers and lettering from the 2007-08 season. There is evidence of a name change — which was not uncommon during the era.
Durant opted to enter the NBA Draft in 2007 where he was selected second overall by the Seattle SuperSonics. In his first career game, he registered 18 points, five rebounds, and three steals. He went on to win the NBA Rookie of the Year Award after his debut season. In addition to leading all rookies in scoring, he was named the NBA Western Conference Rookie of the Month five times that season. Since then, Durant has won an NBA Most Valuable Player Award, four NBA scoring titles, and two Olympic gold medals. He has also been selected to seven All-Star teams and six All-NBA teams.
