Offered is a Seattle Mariners home jersey worn by Ken Griffey, Jr. during the 1998 season. All numbers, logos, patches, and the nameplate appear to be proper and accurate. In our opinion this item appears to show characteristics of game use. The jersey has been authenticated by Grey Flannel and MEARS. Junior played a roll in revitalizing baseball that season as an early contender to break Roger Maris’ single-season home run record. He eventually finished the 1998 campaign with 56 home runs and 146 RBI.
