During the 1981-82 Season World B Free was small in stature but used his 44 inch vertical to rack up more than 22 points per game and over 5 assists and still remains as one of the most prolific scoring guards in NBA History. This uniform photomatches to Getty image #56838268 which was a game versus the Atlanta Hawks in 1982. The jersey shows more use than any basketball uniform that we have seen to date. On the front left tail is a “Sand-Knit” distributor’s tag that reads, “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS”. Below is a “Sand-Knit” size “42” manufacturer’s tag. On the right inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “WARRIORS” and the player number “21” appears on the back in yellow paint with a white-painted border. The player number “21” appears on the front and across the back reads the player name, “FREE” on a blue mesh nameplate. These are painted in yellow. On the inside rear waistline is a “Sand-Knit” distributor’s tag that reads, “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS” with the number “10” written on it. Adjacent is a “Sand-Knit” size “32” manufacturer’s tag. On the inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions. On each side of the shorts reads, “WARRIORS” painted in yellow. The uniform has significant color bleeding on the trim due to multiple washings from season long use. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows absolutely incredible game use.
