Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig played their final game at West Point in 1934. In the game, Ruth hit a 500 foot home run over the right field fence and was the longest ever at West Point. Might this possibly the ball hit by Babe Ruth?

This Taylor manufactured baseball has been signed by Babe Ruth on the sweet spot, Lou Gehrig, Lefty Gomez and Ben Chapman in black ink and in our opinion rate between 6-7. Handwritten on the ball is “WEST POINT June 11, 1934 7-0”.

The autographs were obtained by Johnny Messick, the assistant manager of the Cadet Mess Hall at West Point who later gifted the ball to his nephew whose letter accompanies it. Toning and spot staining are present however the signatures display beautifully.

Authentication: James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity, and a Letter of Provenance.
