This red Sher-Wood PMP 7000 hockey stick was game used by Tomas Sandstrom while playing for the Los Angeles Kings. Sandstrom was drafted 36th overall by the Rangers in the 1982 NHL entry draft. His first NHL season was in 1984-85 in New York and he made the 1985 All-Rookie team with 29 goals in 74 games. In a 15-year NHL career, playing for the Rangers, Kings, Penguins, Red Wings and Mighty Ducks, Sandstrom scored almost 400 goals and had 8 seasons of 25 or more goals. His career best was 45 goals with the Kings in 1990-91. This red Sher-Wood hockey stick has the player name “Sandstrom” stamped on the side. The player number “8” is also stamped on the side but we have no record of Tomas ever wearing his player number. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
