This is a spectacular Tim Duncan 1999-00 San Antonio Spurs game-worn home jersey, a great artifact from the recently retired Duncan, a player of consummate talent and quiet demeanor who passed on the opportunity for a year-long celebration of his career in favor of simply walking away. The No. 1 pick overall in the 1997 NBA draft, Duncan has surpassed virtually all expectations over his brilliant 16-year career, being named 1997-98 NBA Rookie of the Year, twice NBA Most Valuable Player and leading San Antonio to four World Championships. Over his career he has averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds a game. He now awaits only the passage of time to be immortalized with his plaque in Springfield. This handsome jersey exhibits light game use and is in largely as-issued and problem-free condition. "Spurs" appears across the front of the white mesh jersey in silver and black tackle twill, the same format used for his famed No. 21 front and back. His name is across the back in black tackle twill affixed directly to the shirt. Shirt has black, white and silver elastic panels on the sides and knit trim in the same color scheme on the yokes and collar. The NBA embroidered logo patch is on the front left shoulder. The Nike Size 50 tagging appears at the front tail, with adjacent flag tags of NBA Authentics and "Length +4." The jersey is accompanied by an LOA from MEARS with a final A5 grade.
