In and out of the ring, Muhammad Ali was a man who knew how to catch your attention. The same can be said of this eye-catching 8x10 photograph by Ali, who has added the rare inscription “King of Boxing”. The signature is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA). In 1964, Ali defeated reigning heavyweight champion Sonny Liston in a sixth-round technical knockout before a stunned Miami Beach crowd. In the ring, Ali proclaimed, “I am the greatest! I am the greatest!” Millions of people around the world quickly came to the realization that he was right. Ali passed away in 2016 after years of ill health and battling Parkinson’s syndrome.
