Alex Rodriguez wore this Rawlings PRORV23 model glove during the 2007 season, his fourth with the New York Yankees. The slugging third baseman had an incredible season, clubbing 54 home runs with 156 RBI, 24 stolen bases, and a .314 batting average. Rodriguez won his third American League MVP award for his excellent performance that season. Additionally, Rodriguez was selected to his 11th All-Star team in 2007, while also becoming the youngest player in MLB history to reach the 500 home run mark.
This glove shows excellent signs of use. The body is made of black leather, while the top of the glove is a black mesh fabric. A red Rawlings logo is present on the wristband and near the thumb. Rodriguez signed the index finger slot in silver marker. On the ring finger slot he inscribed “2007 Game Used” and “500 HR Season”. This item comes with a LOA from Rodriguez himself.
