Lebron James tried to escape the reality of growing up in a broken home by playing sports in his native Ohio. He found his greatest success on the basketball court at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, where James was considered the “best high school basketball player in America.” Presented is a “Fighting Irish” game used gold jersey and shorts worn by King James during those formative years. The jersey and shorts are accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from Collectibles Palace in Ohio. While attending St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, James was considered the “best high school basketball player in America,” and led his team to a trio of Ohio High School Athletic Association state titles (2000, 2001, 2003). By his senior year, he averaged 31.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 3.4 steals per game. His prowess on the floor was so great that tickets to his high school games were being scalped for an unbelievable $100.
