Presented is a 1996-97 Los Angeles Lakers game used purple road jersey worn by Kobe Bryan during his rookie season. Bryant has also signed the desirable garment. All numbers, logos, patches, and the name appear to be proper and accurate. In our opinion this item appears to show characteristics of game use. The jersey and the signature have been scrutinized by JSA, MEARS, and noted memorabilia expert Dave Miedema. Kobe played 20 seasons for the Los Angeles Lakers, but the most limited jersey to own is arguably his rookie jersey. As a rookie, Kobe quickly became a fan favorite by winning the 1997 Slam Dunk Contest. Bryant went on to be a five-time NBA champion, two-time NBA Finals MVP, 16-time NBA All-Star, and four-time ALL-Star Game MVP.
