This game-used Detroit Lions home jersey was worn by wide receiver Golden Tate III during the team’s 2016 season. The size 40 light blue with white lettering Nike jersey is tagged 2015 “SKILL” and has the other proper tagging and lettering expected, with “15” on the front and back. “TATE III” is placed across the shoulders. It also bears the “WCF” patch on the left chest which honors late owner William Clay Ford, Sr. In our opinion this item appears to show characteristics of heavy game use with ball marks, tears, hit marks, and repairs. Accompanied by an NFL/PSA COA (2N 32366) and a photo-match LOA that came from NFL Auctions. In a Week 9 game against the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit stormed back with 23 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 16-16. On the first drive of overtime, Detroit marched down the field into field goal range. On 3rd down and long, QB Matthew Stafford threw a pass to Tate for a touchdown to give the Lions a 22-16 comeback win in overtime.
