On the left front tail is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer’s size “42” tag with wash instructions. On the front, back, and both sleeves is the player number "16" in silver vinyl sewn on numbering. Across the back is the player name "BLANDA" in the same vinyl lettering on a black name plate. The jersey shows moderate quarterback game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. George Blanda was a three time AFL Champion, a four time Pro Bowl selection and a seven time All-Pro. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the All-Time AFL Team. This jersey has an extremely unique nameplate for the era and this same style nameplate is seen being worn by Blanda in the photographs in this listing. The jersey is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Dave Miedema.
