This road, gray button-down jersey has "BOSTON" across the chest, his name “ORTIZ” and his number "34" on the reverse, all in blue tackle twill. The lower front tail has the "Majestic Authentic" patch, and a white strip tag with "34 50 '12" stitched in black, indicating number, size and year. The jersey has an MLB hologram (376242 EK) affixed to the Majestic tag. The jersey is registered at team issued in the MLB database but as in many cases the jersey appears to show game use as it is very likely that the jersey is game worn.
The left shoulder has the Red Sox stocking insignia, while the right shoulder has the “Fenway Park 100 Years” patch. The jersey exhibits very solid signs of wear wear, with loose threads on the front and back. The jersey appears to be all original with no alterations. David Ortiz was a big part of the Red Sox winning their third World Series title in 10 years just a year later, their magical 2013 season, as he was with the prior two titles in 2004 and 2007.
